As we embrace the spirit of the holiday season, I extend warm wishes to each incredible community member—our dedicated staff, esteemed educators, families, and talented students.
I want to express my profound gratitude to our devoted staff members. Your consistent commitment to the success and well-being of our students is truly inspiring. Throughout this year, your dedication and support has solidified our bond as a school community. Your compassionate approach and tireless efforts have not gone unnoticed. I am continually uplifted by your remarkable impact within our schools.
To our students, your enthusiasm, creativity, and determination brighten our hallways every day. Your willingness to learn, grow, and contribute to our community is what makes Knoxville Schools such a special place. As we enter this holiday season, take a moment to reflect on your accomplishments and the incredible potential that lies ahead.
To our Knoxville School District families, your support and partnership are invaluable. Thank you for entrusting us with the education and well-being of your children. Your involvement enriches our community and contributes to the success of every student. We appreciate your collaboration in fostering a positive learning environment.
In celebration of the holidays, please be informed that classes will be out for winter break from December 22, 2023, until January 8, 2024, with all students reporting back to school on January 9. This break provides a well-deserved opportunity for rest and rejuvenation, allowing us all to return in the New Year refreshed and ready to tackle new adventures.
As we bid farewell to the current year, let us remember the importance of kindness, empathy, and understanding. The holiday season allows us to connect with loved ones, appreciate moments of joy, and extend a helping hand to those in need. Let us foster a culture of support, inclusivity, and respect.
Thank you for your dedication and hard work throughout the year. I wish you a festive holiday season, a joyful winter break, and a Happy New Year with new opportunities and successes. See you in 2024!
